Jeremy Ross has more than 20 years of experience in content creation and broadcast journalism/ storytelling. That career includes 5 Emmys, a Murrow and dozens of writing and production awards from the Associated Press and state and regional journalism-content organizations.

Background

His past includes working as a communications director for a healthcare company where he developed internal, external, social and paid content for the business.

Ross has a proven track record in storytelling, video production, writing, public relations and social media.  He also learned best marketing/ business practices in an agency setting while working for Starcom/ Leo Burnett.

Awards

Ross has won awards for health/science, sports, human interest and feature reporting but most are for best writing & overall storytelling. They include:     
• 5 Emmys
• 1 Murrow
• Dozens of Associated Press Awards (Michigan,Wisconsin and Illinois)
• Dozens of State Awards (Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois)
• More than a dozen regional communication awards including the Society of Professional Journalist’s Chicago Headline Club, the Chicago Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences(ChiNATAS) and the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA).

Education

Ross graduated from the University of Michigan and received his Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

He’s since taught Multi-Media Storytelling at Northwestern as an Adjunct Professor
